The United Nations Climate Change conference is currently going on at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark till the 18^th of this month. The whole world is keeping a close watch on this conference since it is high time to take preventive action against global warming and other key climatic issues. There are already a few positive signs about the meet and a few major emitters of green house gases have agreed to bring down their emission levels significantly. To mention a few of them are

Australia- To cut carbon emissions by 25% below 2000 levels by 2020.

China-To cut CO2 emissions per unit of GDP by 40–45% below 2005 levels by 2020.

United States of America-To cut greenhouse gas emissions by 17% below 2005 levels by 2020, 42% by 2030 and 83% by 2050

India-To cut emissions intensity by 20–25% below 2005 levels by 2020.

            Lets hope that the outcome of this meet would bring positive changes to the worsening global warming situation.
